Royal Enfield launched the Scram 440 adventure motorcycle in India. Priced at Rs 2.08 lakh, it features a larger, more powerful 443cc engine than its predecessor, along with a six-speed gearbox and updated features like an LED headlight and a new seat. Two variants, Trail and Force, are available with different wheel options (tubed/tubeless). The bike offers improved performance and rider comfort, enhancing its appeal in the adventure motorcycle market.

Royal Enfield has introduced the new Scram 440, marking a significant upgrade in the adventure motorcycle segment. The 2025 model, which replaces the Scram 411, is available in two variants—**Trail and Force**—with prices starting at Rs 2.08 lakh, ex-showroom Chennai.

**Engine and Performance**
The Scram 440 is powered by a **443cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine** that delivers **25.4 bhp at 6,250 rpm** and **34 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm**. This new engine offers a 4.5% increase in power and 6.5% more torque compared to the Scram 411. The bike also features a **new 6-speed gearbox** and a lighter clutch, improving ride quality. The bore size has been increased by 3mm, which enhances torque delivery at lower RPMs.

**Variants and Features**
The Scram 440 comes in two variants:
* **Trail:** Priced at Rs 2.08 lakh, it features tubed spoke wheels and tube tires, and is available in Blue and Green.
* **Force:** Priced at Rs 2.15 lakh, it includes tubeless alloy wheels, and is available in Blue, Grey, and Teal.

Key updates include an **all-LED headlight and taillight**, though the indicators retain halogen bulbs. It has a standard analog-digital instrument console, with an option for a Tripper Pod for navigation, and also includes a USB Type-A charging port.

**Hardware and Dimensions**
The Scram 440 features a 19-inch front tyre and a 17-inch rear tyre. Braking is handled by a 300 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc. The suspension system includes 41 mm front forks with 190 mm of wheel travel and a rear monoshock offering 180 mm of travel. The bike has a **switchable dual-channel ABS**, which is standard across all variants, along with dual-purpose tyres.

The motorcycle was first showcased at Moto Verse 2024. The launch price for the base Trail version is just Rs 1,300 more than the Scram 411. The new Scram 440 is now available with a more powerful engine, a new six-speed gearbox, and additional features that make it a more refined and capable ride.
